BeiLuo supplies genuine Semikron SEMITRANS 3+ IGBT modules, the next-generation redesign of the classic 62 mm SEMITRANS platform. SEMITRANS 3+ keeps the well-known 62 mm housing and external interfaces, so it drops into an existing mechanical design, while a complete internal redesign raises the power density, lowers the stray inductance and extends the operating temperature to a 175 degree Celsius junction. The result is a module that reaches up to 1000 A of nominal current in the same footprint, with higher power-cycling capability and improved humidity robustness, which matters in outdoor and renewable installations. The 3+ line is built around the latest IGBT 7 (Gen 7) chip generation together with the new CAL7 diodes, so it delivers lower losses and a softer recovery than the previous generation, and it is optimised for modern three-level topologies as well as the classic half-bridge and common-emitter circuits. It supports multiple IGBT chip versions for supply-chain stability, so the same module can be sourced with dies from more than one supplier. Typical applications are motor drives, solar and wind converters, UPS systems and other medium-power industrial converters where a proven package, a higher current rating and a cooler-running chip set are all valuable.
